Ready for what's set to be an eventful evening, Julie Bowen joined the many stars attending the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (January 29).

The "Modern Family" divorcee worked the red carpet at the Shrine Exposition Center in a colorful Temperley London number before hitting the entrance ahead of the annual Tinseltown celebration of cinema.

Not just a mere spectator, Julie happens to have the important task of presenting an award, with fellow trophy passer-outers including George Clooney, Michelle Williams, Brad Pitt, Zoe Saldana and Natalie Portman.

Miss Bowen will also be competing for the Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Comedy Series while she and her "Modern Family" castmates are also in the running for Outstanding Performance By An Ensemble In A Comedy Series against "30 Rock," "The Big Bang Theory," "Glee" and "The Office."

Airing live on TNT and TBS at 8PM ET, the show honors the best in Hollywood over the past year while also having selected Mary Tyler Moore as the recipient of the 48th Life Achievement Award.
