After being arrested back in September for causing more than $5000 in damage to a home they once owned in Santa Barbara, CA, Randyand Evi Quaid were recently rejected to seek extradition by U.S. officials.
According to the New York Daily News, authorities in Santa Barbara have sought the couple's return for months.
Senior Deputy District Attorney Lee Carter says the U.S. State Department notified him last week that it would not pursue extradition.
Carter also mentioned that the Cousin Eddie actor and his wife can be arrested if they return to the United States.
