I love Louis CK's stand-up, especially all the shit about raising kids. I've listened to his four specials three or four times each since finding him in 2009-ish.I identify!
But as the premiere of season 2 of his show approached, I began to worry, because some of those episodes last year were SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO WATCH and the possibility of him going too far for the season opener seemed likely.
So it's with a smile that I can report that -- despite disliking the middle section (the sister was simply too unpleasant) and not enjoying the stand-up segments (which tend to be the main reason I watch) -- that the episode as a whole was... nice!
Life-affirming, even.
I'm so pleased his young daughters and future-niece/nephew didn't end up dead!
